Samuel and Pamela Morgan
Owners

Sam is a graduate of Oneonta High School. He then went on to graduate from Jefferson State Community College where he earned his degree in funeral service. Pam is a graduate of Etowah High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Jacksonville State University and her Masters degree from the University of Alabama. Sam has been in funeral service since 1972, Pam retired from teaching in 2002. They both currently manage Morgan Funeral Chapel. They are also members of Cherry Street Baptist Church where Sam is an active Deacon and Pam is the pianist. Their pride and joy is an eight year old Scottish Terrier named "Scottie".

Verlyn Plemons
Funeral Director/Embalmer

Verlyn has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1975. He was born in St. Clair county and has lived in Gallant and Attalla for 52 years. He has been in the funeral business for thirty-six years, thirty-one of which have been with Morgan Funeral Chapel. Verlyn and his wife Annie have one son, one granddaughter, and one great-granddaughter. He is also a member of First Baptist Church of Gallant.

Kenneth Arthur
Funeral Director/Embalmer

Kenneth is a graduate of Glencoe High School and a 1991 graduate of Jefferson State Community College. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer. He is also a certified crematory operator by The Cremation Association of North America. Kenneth has been on the staff of Morgan Funeral Chapel since 1989. He and his wife Mary have five children and reside in Gallant.

Noble Yocum
Greeter

Noble graduated from Gupton-Jones College in 1937 and received his license in 1937. He has worked in the Gadsden area funeral business since 1944. Noble has one son, twin daughters, two grandsons and is a member of First Baptist Church. He is also a member of the Civitan Club and was an Etowah County Coroner
for sixteen years.
